A Grinch From Nova Scotia, Canada

We have here our first Grinch from outside the US. He, like all the others, was utterly impressed and inspired by me and did a wonderful job of making his own costume. He sent along his description of how he made his costume and some pictures. I am sure you Grinch lovers out there will agree that he is a fabulous addition to this website!

"The whole costume was made from scratch except for the red part of the Santa suit. That was originally a heavy fleece pull over from a second hand clothing store. Most of the costume was hand sewn with a little machine work, and the shoes were hot glued.

I downloaded your face pictures (thank you) and made my own version from them. I think having the original Jim Carry face was quite a help in seeing how the original was done. The face is made up of a two part liquid latex mask (airbrushed) with airbrush applied make-up to finish it off.

(These were my fist batch of pictures, so quality might not be very good).
